Any opionions on some lightweight drag wheels?
My Volk GT-Us.. bieng 18s and all.. really slow me down at the strip. I'm really thinking of selling them, and picking up a set of lightweight 16 or 17" wheels.
They'd need to clear coilovers and z32 brakes.

I ran 16" drag wheels, like the ones they sell in summit for mustangs and shit, can't remember exactly which ones they were. just don't street drive them

why not street drive them?
do you mean big fat rear wheels and pizza cutters in the front?
the company WELD wheels is a well known one i think for drag wheels

I'm at one of two points.
Either buy 2 drag wheels and put drag radials on them, or
Find a lightweight set of decent looking wheels that will clear coils/zbrakes and sell my volks.

Bogart, Weld, CCW.
Or FD rx7 wheels, 16x8.5, look pretty nice as well.

bogart's, thats the ones i had. I wouldn't street drive them because they flex and aren't designed to withstand potholes and stuff. not to mention I was running pizza cutters up front and they understeered like a bitch.

300zx donuts in the front and FD's or 300zx with drag radials on rear.

300zx TT wheels, and MT drag radials. Cheap, effective, no loss in style points the rest of the time ;)
