Hey guys, I’m working on a vh swap with a cd009 and was wondering if it matters if I go with a 03-06 z clutch or 07+ clutch, I’m going to most likely use the Collins adapter and it says I use a z33 flywheel and clutch, and I found a good deal on a 07+ clutch... soo... yea?

Is the 07+ pressure plate the same or compatible with 06 cd009 trans?

Oh thanks fuck face, I even called Z1 and talked to Matt, he said theirs will work but not sure about other brands, he said the toner ring on the flywheel is different because of the crank angle sensor, but isn’t 100% sure the pressure plates are different.

I run the Newer style z Trans with the Z-speed HD Concentric slave and just used my SR flywheel with an SR Clutch and pressure plate. No issues yet.

Thanks for the info ultimateirving! I went ahead and ordered the 07+ clutch and flywheel that found for a steal. I was told by Z1 that the throwout bearing has the the same throw distance in either 06 external or 07+ internal. So I don’t see why it won’t work.
