I've been searching for pics of S14's with the JDM bumpers in other colors besides black, white, and silver. I'm thinking of going for the cleaner JDM bumpers but I dont want another black one, even though black is the hottest. Any pics or links would be sweet. Thanks.

A lot... Sold the GT-N's to go with GT-P's instead. KA-t is gone for an SR and the old USDM bumper/sides went for the JDM stuff obviously. And I ditched the K's wing for wingless instead...
Before I sold you that lip I had H&R springs on my car and never really scraped anything, now I have KTS coilovers and the car is a lot lower, gotta pick and choose my roads.. in the 3rd pic down I posted you can see my downpipe nearly scraping the ground.

Yeah it's Jay... the SA guys are cool... you can differentiate your car from Jay's (revat619) by getting some nice wheels. At the time when I had the JDM OEM stuff, my wheels were the only differentiator from other s14's with the same kit. This proves true now that I have a VS kit and everyone else has one too haha... Mod your car the way you like it... not just to make it different... in the end you'll be happier that way.

seriously though, they are kinda boring, i mean they're nice and all, but very simple. They look stock on the car. Plus there's ATLEAST 2 other s14 koukis that are black with jdm aero AND have r33's! So yeah i want nicer wheels too! Why do you think i bother you with wheel stuff so much! Its just lame cuz everytime i think i've found a wheel to order, you end up tellin me somthin thats stupid about them...the lip sucks, the disk design sucks, limited offsets, etc.....friggin wheel genius. :D But its cool, cuz i know you know your stuff so its no big deal. :bow: I'll find the right wheels one of these days!

Anyway dude, there's always gonna be somebody out there that thinks your car is horrible...thats just a given. But like Jay (iEATrice) said, just mod the car how you like it and you'll be the happiest.

Wheels are so hard to pick though! I want something simple in a deep bronze that is under $1000 with a nice offset. FN01r-C's are always sweet but its basically stock in cali...just sitting on my cash right now...really thinking of just driving up to renova to pickup those JDM bumpers after seeing those pics...I cringe everytime I leave a driveway and hear SCRRAAAAPPPEEE. OUCH!

Same as we discussed before. Shipping from Maine to Cali on large body pieces like that is gonna be about 50$ or more... That's what i paid to have my trust lip shipped and what i paid for my bumpers to be shipped. UPS is a bitch.

Thats what i was looking for on the black one mikespeed posted. I know those kouki rear valances can take a decade to locate, I was thinking of getting the zenki valances but from that side pic that doesnt look too appealing. And those are bodykits..I'm anti-fiberglass since I drive my car everywhere and cracking wouldnt be too fun.

Mikespeed's car has the USDM bumper with zenki valances, which looks fine. (the one with the kouki rear has no valances).
This white one has them on the JDM kouki rear bumper, and it looks like garbage.

Yes, that's why I wrote Zenki style, as the Bomex and zenki are nearly identical. The whole point was that fact that they don't incorporate into the lip of the rear bumper makes it look like shit.

ha I was just looking at the white one with the bomex valances and the "JDM" rear and that pic looks like it was takin in japan..its not his fault he has THAT rear. haha. I personally dont think it looks that bad..the way the valance comes up and ends looks like it meets right where the rear lip starts. Anyone have closeup pics of of a rear valance on a JDm bumper?

yup thats me. Glad you're happy with the bumpers! Thats cool you found a set of valances! I actually just found a set for myself. Me and some friends painted them already, i just need to stop being lazy and put them on!

btw, your car looks hot with the gracer lip! I'm hoping to go with that full kit in the future, minus the fender flares.

oh, FYI, fliprayzn's car has a knockoff version of the GP Sports Sonic Type R II, without two rectangular holes along the upper half of the bumper.

It basically has the OEM optional lip integrated into the kouki-style bumper.

Pimpness, even if IHMO doesn't flow perfectly with kouki sides.

spoiler is a little too much for me....I dont know what combination i want to go with...definately jdm front..but stay with the SE skirts or JDm zenki skirts....kouki rear with valance or zenki valance stock rear...kouki wing, navan wing or wingless..decisions decisions..think I'll get a system and sleep on it.

yeah the spoiler isnt my cup of tea either, but to each his own.

However, i do think that the front bumper matches quite well with the kouki sides. IMO, that's about as close as you can get without being stock. Its almost perfect. :bow:

Jesus, picky much?? Sorry, I'll rephrase.... The stock skirts that come on the USDM kouki (as well as in Japan :cj: ) don't go well with the JDM bumper w/lip, the JDM optional ones (option on both zenki and kouki) look better.
Is that okay now? I didn't think i would have to list every car those sideskirts came on to get my point across...

Shiet yah i hate the wing...only reason i still got the bish is cuz of the damn 5 holes i would have to plug if i take it off. I think the S14 trunk is way cleaner without a wing. Any kind of wing just makes it look too narrow from behind. If I could do it all over again...id go Stock JDM Kouki *preferably with the optional lip but $800 for them bumper just aint worth it* JDM kouki and stick a C-west lip on it *wait is C-west polyurethane???* Are there any lip for the JDM kouki bumper thats not fiberglass??? Nismo sideskirts *yah yah its generic but i still think its clean* and stock Kouki rear bumper with kouki valence.

But if i wanna go nuts....URAS would be my route or GP sports G-four.
