Hey, I'm just getting ready to sell my 1997 Prelude SH so I can buy my '97 240SX, but I'm starting to have some doubts now on the styling, so I need your help.
Can you all post pics/links to pics of '97+ 240sx with rims and possibly lowered, no body kit. Black exterior would also be nice. Also suggestions on wheels (17") would be good too. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah..that's the n1dual on the back.

It's going to be lowered in about a month or less...lowered about an inch or a little more.

Dude you got a 97 Lude SH!!
sweet man, personally i'd probably stick with that... i think the styling is better and the H22a aint nothin to fuck with ok lemme stop...
anyway welcome to the dark side hondaboy.. the 97-98 are some of my fav models.... good luck man, if you do a search there was a "post your pics" thread not to long ago... I few nice black ones too, i remember nitekids was coooool....

you know jackson racing makes a supacharger for the lude right... ok ok i'll stop

Yeah, JR makes a Supercharger, but I rather have a rwd car in my opinion. I'll be stepping down in performance until I get my turbo kit or sr swap, but it's ok.
I just love the styling of the Prelude, but I want the 240SX, so that is why I'm asking for the pics, to try to convince myself it looks equally as good or better.

A 1997 240SX? Not only does it look equally as good or better than the Prelude, it's a helluvalot rarer! I can see Preludes on the roads daily. For 97-98 S14s (other than my own) I see them like a couple times a month at MOST. Maybe that would be a good reason also. =)

styling? '97 headlights are probably one of the best looking out there. Ask Honda, they copied it in their ITR

I'm also gonna be a converted hondaboy soon. Right now I have a 94 prelude si, but in a few months, I will be in the market for a s13. Reasons for switching
1) want to try something new
2) RWD, turbo (after swap)
3) relatively cheap stock
4) lots of Japanese aftermarket support (I'll be looking over there for parts)
5) can look very nice after some work

Anyways, I'm not on the same scale money wise as 97S14, but just thought that I would share

haha......that #17 is not the production number of the car, but my autox number in Midwestern Council, i remember seeing your thread about this a while back, but second guessed myself that you were talking about me.

sorry for the confusion.

Yea the prelude does have some heat from the factory, and the H22A being Hondas most potent 4cyl offering sounds good. The active differential's an added plus.
