w00t! my N1 Dual came in the mail today <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. The only bad thing is, I've gotta wait till I can get my hands on some ramps to put it on <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

Anyone else done it w/o ramps?

Hey transient,

If you could, let me know what size bolts connect the pipe to the cat. I'm have no doubt I'm going to have to replace those so I want to get them ahead of time. Let us know how it goes.

Transient, me and srskilladet put on my dual with just a jack and two jackstand &nbsp;

gschroeder78-to the guy wondering about the bolts, my cat had studds coming off the end, no bolts, and just a word to the wise, when getting the nasty rusty nut off, dont cut through those

If they are studs, what happens if they are too rusted to put on the new bolts? can the studs be replaced?

if your studs are broken...just weld it. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
plus, no exhaust leaks there!

Ok, The exhaust came with new nuts and bolts, so you don't need to worry about that. I'm not sure on sizes, but they're much bigger than stock.

So anyway, the exhaust has been installed and it's awesome. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> It's a bit loud, but it's all low and bassy, not like someone farting on a snare drum. I kinda felt a power increase, but i'm not sure whether it's just in my head or not. I've been driving a few cars lately, so my ass dyno is a bit messed up at the moment.

I'll have pics up sometime, but it'll be a little while, I'm a tad busy lately <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

"farting on a snare drum".....hahaha

My advice to you...if you wanna see the biggest improvement......use 93-94 octane gas.

Also....if its kinda loud...get some of that Dynamat stuff from your local stereo shop, and install it under the carpet in your car. &nbsp;I know it sounds like a pain, but if you are gonna re-carpet it....or re-upholster the seats, go for the Dynamat.

Did you get this exhaust for a turbo application or for N/A? What the size is the piping?
Oh yeah, congrates on the (from what I hear) good exhaust! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>
