I am troubleshooting the passenger window not responding to input, after watching a few videos on diagnosing this I removed the door cover and was expecting to find the window relay there between the door and door cover, but it doesn't look like one was ever installed there. There's a disconnected 6 socket connector down by the speaker, it has 5 wires, 2 of which were cut to connect to a speaker (I'm guessing this connector was just for the stock speaker?) The disconnected black connector that you can see I took apart for continuity testing. So where is the relay? I saw a thread saying some 240s have it under the back seat but I pulled up the back seat and found nothing.

Good news is I powered the black connector with a battery and the motor goes up and down, still looking for that relay though.

I am no expert on Nissans, but I don't think there is one. Does the drivers window work with the switch? I am assuming that the pass window doesn't work with either switch? You will need to check for power at the pass window motor connector and work your way back to the master switch. All power flows through the master switch. You will have to actuate the master switch for the pass window while testing.
Good luck.

jaredThank you for the input! Yes that's right neither the driver or passenger switches work on the passenger window.
Okay so I found the power window wiring diagrams in the FSM and it looks like the relay I was looking for would be more accurately called an amplifier, and it's only located on the driver side. I will get into the driver side door tomorrow.

I did find the window power amp located in the driver door. However, I took it out of its casing and inspected it and everything looked in order, solder points all looked good, and I did continuity testing on the relays and they seemed to be fine. I guess I need to do more continuity testing between the switches, amp, and motors. In the mean time I hooked up a DPDT switch (on-off-on switch that reverses polarity) to a little 12V battery to control the window. Might just redo the whole power window system with a custom switch setup.

What about grounds? Yes, check the wiring through the switches. Broken wires like to hide near the door hinges. get you meter out and check between the master switch and pass switch. Is power is at the pass side of the master switch? Sometimes the junction can get damaged. Switches like to go out a lot. Masters especially, one window may work but not the other.
Have a great day,
