I have them set to about 80kg of preload up front on my S14.
8 in front and rear, my lowering is 1.375" up front and 0.625" in the rear. Can't use the center front jack point anymore with the bigger front sway.
Initially 8 was too bouncy when the road got unsmooth....knocking it up to 12 (with 15 in this case being stiffest) took that out. Need to drive some more and see how the back is doing. As far as spring rate goes, it's not bad, better than stock in my opinion as it doesn't feel like I am floating. Hitting road bumps and the like it is stiffer, but not harsh and not abusive. I would say alot of stiff mustangs I have driven suck compared to this ride and this car feels more controllable and balanced. The mustang I had last would literally bash your teeth on railroad crossings....my current setup just bounces you a bit, like a split second...much better than crossing the tracks and going up and down for 2-3 seconds.
If anyone has done a lot of playing with settings and cares to comment on how soft vs stiff dampening goes it be cool...
Also on 17x8 +30mm wheels with 235/45R17's...at first I thought the fronts weren't going to work with the upper spring seat / nut...but since my alignment they clear close but ok -2 camber up front.
Thanks
Chris
