Pictures of Z33 wheels on an S13?

I really want R33 wheels, but I can't afford them (I see them for over $1000). My friend who owns a 350z has a set that he wants to get rid of, and can sell them to me for cheap. I was just wondering what they'd look like.

ok this thread has me pretty confused. in the title it says z33 wheels and the two-tone s13 looks like it has z33 wheels.but in the message parts it says "i really want r33 wheels" and the black s13 looks like it has r33 wheels. so which is it? r33? or z33?

The wheels in the top picture are not the Z wheels, those are 7 spoke. Just thought i'd bring that up. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, and if i am, i'm sure someone will.

the wheels are definately NOT track edition...note the lip and curvature of the spokes...these wheels look very nice though in person...but they are not those on the silver S13. They are base model rims if either...maybe G35 wheels? they look to be definately 17" tho

hmm very odd, now I am clueless, thought only the track editions came with the dimples, g35 wheels dont have dimples IIRC.

Nope, the ones pictured at the top are 6 and 5-spoke respectively, while the ones you have posted are both 6-spokes, and different from the ones above.

You guys are still wrong. There are THREE different style wheels offered on the Z33.

The very post shows the Base 17x8 wheels, in BOTH pics. They come standard on Base and Enthusiast models. The silver Z pictured with the Brembos is running the 18x8 Performance/Touring wheels, again standard on those models. The blue car has the Track wheels, 18x8 and 18x8.5.

G35C wheels are also offered in 17 and 18 inch sizes, but they're smaller width and look nothing like the 3 styles above.

i test drove a Z just like that blue one... lotsa grip. so much, in fact, that the clutch slipped before the tires when i drove it hard... eff the wheels buy the car!

yeah right, the Z i drove was peeling out ALL the time.. the factory setup is very slippery. Unless that person changed the wheel/tire setup, those OEM bridestones are CRAP. A set of S03's are mandatory for the Z33.. and better wheels, of course.

this one was bone stock. maybe somebody hot rodded it too much but when i launched and shifted from 1-2 it hesitated then chucked the salesman back into his seat (which was pretty darn funny).

kinda felt... unreal... though. i enjoy the driving characteristics of my S13 a lot more but it is indeed a great car.

17x8.0 +suck

Lindsay Queer's car has R33 wheels
17x9 +suck
17x9 +suck

Both sets are heavy. Both set's offsets are sucky. Only the R33's are a decent width.

Thanks for the reply guys. Yeah, I guess my post was confusing. And thanks KingKong8247 for the pictures. It doesn't look TOO bad with those wheels, although the ones I can get from my friend are the ones that Maeda has. $600 for wheels + stock tires, good deal? I doubt I'll do it though.

there is a button on the left, its for traction control.. turn it off and realize that the 350Z is just a japanese car with the equivelent of a mustang v8 motor.. yawn. sorry, just not a big fan of the 3.5L.. its designed for US market.

That's not Dennis's, and those are G35C 18s, not Z33s. But good effort, those wheels look good for OE.

what are the offsets on the z33 track rims, and the normal z33 rims. i know theyre not great, but id like to know.

i'd be up for getting those, but what are the offsets?

i know these are pretty expensive to start, but i really like the look of OEM factory wheels on clean cars. i dont plan on any body mods in the near future, just pulled fenders in the rear (close to 3mm), and rolled fenders in the front.

i've got cusco coilovers and some aftermarket multilink, to set the camber to my spec, and i will be ordering some h&r spacers to make em nice and floooosh!.

well any info would be nice.

I see you missed that class where they taught reading.

G35C wheels come in both sizes, but they're different styles.
Z33 Track wheels are 18", NOT 17".
Offsets are 33mm and 30mm for Track wheels, IIRC the G35C 18s are 33mm also.
And 18" tires are not expensive, unless you're an idiot and can't shop competitively.

Maybe an S14 could take 18s, but I think 17s look a lot better on an S13
