Nismo s13 exhaust?

Hey, I'm looking at buying a nismo exhaust thats for sale here, but the seller doesn't have much info on it and hasn't contaced me back yet. I have looked for stuff on it, but haven't been very succesful. Do any of you know some info about the nismo exhaust for the s13? Its an old school one, with the old nismo logo. I think it is the nismo weldina, but it doesnt specifically say. If any of you could help me out with the size of the pipes or anything else it would be much appreciated. If anyone has first-hand experience too, that would be awesome. Thanks.

i have the nismo exhaust. it's 3" (76.5mm). the dent on the tip from the tow hook wasn't nearly as bad on mine, i definately recommend removing the tow hook, i didn't, now i need to cushion the hook so it doesn't rattle :doh: . the tip tucks up against the bumper so it's kinda hard to put on (really hard by yourself). the resonator hangs a little low, but no lower than the cat. it sounds really nice at idle (stock KA, stock cat) and i couldn't believe how quiet it was when i first drove it. i can only hear the engine, not the exhaust when i'm driving.

Awesome man, thanks so much. I was wondering how it would get an indentation like that on the tip, haha. Thats good to hear that its 76.5mm, i had seen that number amidst japanese writing on some of the sites i went to, but this assures it. About the loudness, I had a feeling that it would be quiet, but how would you compare it to the stock, probably louder than that right?

hey, with the dent already in the tip, maybe i wont have to remove the towhook, theres probably enough room now! ahaha, its like an added bonus.

i don't know what stock sounds like. but, my car has no interior besides seats, not even floormats, and i think it's pretty quiet. probably is one of the quietest 3" exhausts you can get.

i figure my wouldn't rattle because it was also pre-dented, but it does. the rear muffler sits so high i thought the hangers were bent, the clearance between tip and tow hook is like 2mm, not much more than that.

Wow, that exhaust looks awsome, sits up high, at least the muffler does. Subtle. I would definatly hit it if I had the chance.
