What to do? Right side -> top two threads are broken... Someone told me to do thread inserts... eh...
should I just drill a bit bigger hole and use a tap -> bigger stud?
Right now the studs/bolts are M8 1.25.. Can I go M10 1.50?
This seems like the easiest way...

Just use hei-coils. It would be a lot eaiser than trying to redrill everything for larger studs and risk breaking something.

will heli-coils withstand the heat of exhaust temps?

is this an sohc only problem? when i bought mine a year ago 3 of them were already broken on the stock manifold. i brought it to a machine shop tho, drilling and tapping new ones was a little above me at the time.

yeah when i had my sohc bunch of mine broke. stupid stuff. there are lots of ways to get them out. if they broke off flush then its a little more difficult to get out. u can weld a washer to the stud then a bolt to the washer and hten turn them out... u can drill into them to reduce the stress before doing all the welding. its a pain in the ass and you can ruin your head if you dont drill correctly so be careful or have a pro do it. have fun. that shit sucks
