Alright, the silvia headlamp conversion on the 180sx body, this is what they refer to as the sil-eighty setup, this has nothing to do with rice, rice is refered to as taking a silvia s15 front body panel conversion and dropping it onto a civic from the late 90's to the millenium:faint: . Now, as for the s15 conversion to the hatch setup, I think this is nothing more than a fad that is like the bosozoku styling in japan, to an extent, much lower. Don't contain images of these conversions myself, (don't need them) but search any local HOT shop for this, I'm sure they will have something waiting for you in the back. P.S. the term "HOT SHOP" is in refrence to a "tuning" shop that carries nothing more than intake filters and exhaust tips for yah average consumer. . . . . Get Off.

putting various silvia fronts on 240's is just using one of the many options at our disposal. we aren't jumping company lines and its in the same family of cars. is it rice to put an STI bumper on an impreza RS?

I think its not necessarily a fad. Most S14.5 are zenkis. Guess they hate the faded yellow plastic headlights. Me, id stick with my kouki, looks meaner and the hells the point? I already got hid projectors plus the fact that s15 front end just makes the car look bubbly. I might do it if id make the ass wider.

I think you guys are forgetting that the lighting on 240s (s13) is dismal. Sure you could get a H4 conversion or whatever else, but the only decent projector conversion is either going silvia front or if you happen to be lucky enough to live in socal, then you can hit up clearcorners.

Personally, I really need a new paintjob, so my s13-15 conversion seemed pretty viable.

i agree with that, ive always thought it looked stupid and was a wasted of money (even though i do find the 95-96 headlights to be very pain and boring themselves). i was just wondering if it was something that we came up with ourselves, or something copied from the japanese like most of our trends.

personally, i prefer the s14 conversion on the 180sx. i know there's a zenki conversion here somewhere. i don't remember where though. but ever since bobbyboys pics in the picture thread, i like 'em just as much. but anyways, pop-up lights are the sex...

Why would you put widebody/fender flares on your car, and not use wider wheels/lower offsets? Reminds me of a mustang I saw at ASU, had 17x7 +40, looked like crap. and his nitrous tubing is sloppy and amateurish.
