Why the hell would anyone buy that? That thing looks like a total mess. You would have no idea what he has done so far in the swap. And you can get a rb26 clip for like $4k and a decent shell for around a $1k probably, and have the same thing in that auction instead of paying 8.1k so far....

I think it's (obviously) too expensive for what it is, but I give the guy credit for doing something that I've never seen done before. Why are you all so quick to hate on something. :cj:

There probably wasn't much choice as to where to mount it and maintain the front suspension and front halfshaft geometry.

I hope that thing's on jackstands and that's not how the front suspension sits.

why do people always insist to upgrade the engine first and leave suspension/brakes stock? must be a whiteboy thing... jk

It is not on jack stansd. The gtr cross member has a hump in it, right at where the 4 bolts (two on each side) bolt up to the frame. It is a 4-5 inch diff. I don’t know why he did not think of that and still went ahead and bolted it up. As far as the tranny. You will have to cut a nice section out of the tranny tunnel and move the passenger seat. It looks like he has not done that either. Who ever gets that car will have to start all over. A couple of days ago, I asked him what his reserve was set to for kicks, thinking 5-6k which still would not be a good deal. He said 10.5k. I about crapped my self. If that thing sells, I am going to start building crappy incomplete rb26's rather then building rb20's.

Agreed that thing is a mess, itwould be cool to have and everything if it was done properly. I think it is a lot more work than he makes it sound like also. either way I think S13's should stay rwd in my opinion. Oh well to each his own.

thats pretty cool, its cool that he tried. I can't imagine anyone getting that and trying to clean up his mess, though. for 10k. hell, for the 8 k its at now, why not just get an Rb26dett front clip and an s13 and go at it yourself?
personally I think if you want an AWD nissan you should get a bluebird front clip and rear suspension and try and do that. would be more of a sleeper.

Ok..... #1, if I get ahold of a RB26... and the block is cracked!?!?!?!?!? I'm flipping on someones ass! I'll be damned. Why in the hell would you try to install the motor? Does he actually think it will function properly?

TheSnail

I think he is a dumbass that can't be helped, and 10.5k? He should have taken the 8100 while he had the chance, but that would not be nice to the unsuspecting buyer. Though I don’t think he cares to much about customer satisfaction.

I can see with that signature that you like pushing ppl's buttons. I recommend that you change that before you Kevin sees it. He might think that a permaban is in order.
