Anyone know which windshield is darker; green or blue tint? (is it tint?)

Well, my windshield had a nice meeting with a bike peg and now needs to be replaced. I called around to windshield replace shops and some of them have two different OEM windshields for the 240, one with blue tint and one with green. I heard from one shop that the green is darker and one that the blue is probably darker. Anyone know which one it is?

how the hell did a bike peg get anywhere close to your windshield? as for the tint question. i have no idea which is darker but does it really matter?

Blue is probably darker. Since you add yellow to get green.

a bike peg ended up in his window because he lives in austin and bmx'ers own that town ;)

i would imagine green to be darker so theres a good contradiction of oppinons....

Haha, very true. In fact it was my own BMX bike from a few years ago that did it. Lesson learned: Don't be in too much of a rush to check that the last person who drove your car didn't leave it in first with the brake down :doh:, especially when a bike is hanging in front of it =/. I think I'm just gunna call the Nissan dealer tomorrow and ask them. I'm pretty sure it's their glass, so they SHOULD know.

Get the clear windshield and get a black tint strip put at the top, the strip is $10.

mine is tan colored stripe across the top. go figure and its the original one that came with the car. i had a dove meet the upper driver-side part and now its cracked to shit. time for a replacement
