Okay, who has Ground Control Coilovers?
I'm wondering what the pricing is like on these things, as I'm deciding tween the Ground Control/AGX combo, or to go Tein HA/HE full coils.
Please dont message if you just have an opinion about something related... I"m looking for pricing info, and experiences/opinions from OWNERS...
THere seems to be a lot of, " well I have this friend who has (fill in the blank) and he thinks (blank) because (blank)..." blah blah blah...
I want 1st hand experiences! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

I can tell you what ground control told me when I talked to them. There is some cutting and modification involved when installing the GC coilovers. Also sping rates are high at 450 lb/in, but they can go as low as 350lb/in. Thats still pretty stiff, and why they are considered a "race-only" setup.
The HA's are similarly stiff, but I think there is a larger range of adjustment in the shocks. Which can give you a bit more comfortable ride.

umm...I don't have GC coilovers, but I can get them for $380.
Hope that can give you an idea of how much they cost.

i had the agx struts with weapon-r pro circuits, the agx struts are great because of the ease of adjusting the dampining, it rides good with a 2" drop anything more drastic will bottom out. i had this setup on my 95200sx later i went with motivational engineering, with his one peice shortened struts which enabled to tuck rim and tire with still excellent ride quality.i would go with the teins.

I thought that Eibach had a vast selection of spring rates, more then the 450-350lb/in that you noted. That was one of the benefits of going Ground Control. Someone chime in here.

Year there are more selections, but GC won't go any less stiff (probably go more stiff if you want) because the height of the spring on our cars is short, and I think its more so with coil overs.

if anything, GC's are most streetable than HEIN's. it's made with progressive eibach springs. What determins stiffness anyway? the shocks or springs? also bottoming out?? anyone know?
my240, does your car ever bottomed out before?? how low do you go front and back on thos coilovers?

What sort of driving do you do?
drag, autoX, etc?
Can you find out what spring rate you got? Your setup sounds like what I"m aiming for...
