I don't remember those meets but, I do remember the ones that use to be in Sunbow /Chula Vista by the Mcdonalds every Thursday think this was in 09'.Hopefully we can get enough people that show interest and make this happen.

Not from personal experience but I believe I read you can pay it for the first offense and that the second is mandatory inspection. I'll try to ask some friends who been through it to verify if you haven't by then. Good luck dude.

Yeah. The driver side brake light was out. I checked it as soon as I got home.

^I dealt with a ref ticket back in 07 and I actually swapped all my stock stuff back and passed the ref inspection, but if I ever get another I would just pay it and figure out a way to register out of state..or at the very least make the engine look very stock. (see ka-t sleeper)


I'll be moving to SD in a few weeks and I'd be down for a meetup.

Like I said before I'm down for any location that isn't too far or hot. Saw two green kouki s14's yesterday in Mira Mesa. One was stock on 6 spoke 350z wheels and another was on what looked like white TE's with an aggressive kit. Also saw a black turbo Supra and a cool MR2. Was there a meet yesterday I didn't know about? lol Not used to seeing this many 90's Japanese cars.

so i just got a 240 s13...nothing special, fully stock with a struggling automatic tran unfortunately. so far this thread is the most recent and in my general area that is currently active, wish i would have seen this sooner to make it to the meet. if you guys continue to meet im interested, maybe you guys can school me on these 240's that i know nothing about. ill be lurking around the forums to find any help on the new car as well. hope these meets continue

Almost time to meet the new 240 faces. Its been a while (In & Out, McDonalds Chula, Fuddruckers before we moved to In & Out). Gotta fix a couple vacuum leaks and mount the aero. I got tired of the KA being so slow so went KA-T while the RB gets assembled.

It was actually a task force that Irvine set up to do a night of harassment.

Basically I had pizza at a place around the corner from my work. The owner tells me, "Hey bro dont drive your car, the cops were in here and they said theyre pulling over everything modified" Turns out the were targeting a meet in the city over.

I told him its ok im fairly stock and my exhaust is quiet.

I pull out and as im about to turn into work i get lit up from a pretty good distance. Cop tells me my car sounds a little loud. (BS car has full silencers) so basically trying to find stuff with my car the ask to pop the hood. Im honest and tell him yeah i have a header. So he writes me a ref ticket but doesnt give me an exhaust ticket. He was so far behind me when he pulled me over that he didnt even really see the car. Anyways it was wrong place wrong time. Since then people have said theyve passed cops and everything has been chill. It was just that on that one night the task force was out to make a statement.
