C’mon man. Put in a little bit of effort and search the topic. It’s only been covered a zillion times.

jz swap is straightforward, cd009 depending on what adapter you go with is straightforward as well.

Step 1: Beat the shit outta your trans tunnel
Step 2: Beat the fuck outta your trans tunnel some more
Step 3: Finally realize that you need to beat the trans tunnel again.

Step 4: Admire how the transmission hangs really low.

Contact serial nine for the CD009 conversion. Impressed with their products. Wiring Specialties for the harness, used them for 2 cars now

I don't understand how I fit a 4l80e under the S14 and its as high as every other trans. 4l80e is 250lbs monster.

Why does the cd009 hang so low when the 4l80e must be larger, heavier, does not?

I think it's just the way it's built. The output shaft is rather high up, making a good amount of girth to hang down haha

I drilled out the welds on the transmission brace support and re welded it on further back and used a stock cross member for the transmission. freed up some space and my cd009 sits even with the frame rails on a maverick motorsports adapter.
also hammered out about and inch extra room around the bellhousing of the firewall.
