Hey guys I recently installed a mishimoto radiator, and my OEM fan clutch blades are cracked. Would there be any cooling issues if I run without a shroud, an aluminum rad, and purchasing the GKTECH fan? ( no shroud as Im running Nismo mounts). Also planning on gluing the cracks in my OEM fan blades with a type of very strong adhesive in the mean time( a product harder than plastic epoxy sold over here in Puerto Rico).

Why not just run a shroud? Upgrading seems useless if you can't use the benefits.

Trim the shroud, fan will be pretty infective in pulling heat out of the rad without it.

I agree it's less effective...I never ran the shroud and was fine

trim the shroud, also read the directions from GKTech, they clearly specify what engine/mount setups won't work

mechanical fan with no shroud is WAY less effective

I have Nismo motor mounts, gktech fan, and a fan shroud. Not sure what the problem is.

Same. I’m running a Koyo copper wich is a bit slimmer (s14). In my s13 I had alum Koyo & shroud, still fit fine.

Mishimoto, OEM fan, slightly notched OEM shroud, driftFreaq mounts - no problems?
