Hi all,

Long time lurker.

I picked up 3 eagle rods off a local for extremely cheap that were "confirmed" in good working order and reusable by a reputable engine builder.

I want to share 2 photos of what almost all 3 rods look like and get opinions if these are usable? They're all straight. Not sure what happened to the 4th one, Pretty sure the engine blew up.

Thanks,

It's very common for someone to sell the remaining internals after an engine blows if they decide not to build it.

But for you asking us to confirm this is reusable, is actually just as inaccurate as believing him when he says "confirmed reusable by a reputable shop"

Take them to a shop if you are worried about usability.
- ARP rod bolts are amazing, so you are probably good. If you trust the person, you are probably ok

I would message eagle, see if they can give you some guidance or tolerances for a shop to check. I would never run used internals without 100% verification on measurements and tolerances.

those look good to me...you will be using new bearings which will be your wear surface...but would agree on getting em checked as pictures only show so much
