Hey, i'm new to this site, it's pretty cool. My friend showed me it the other day so i thought i would register.

i'm hoping to get a 180SX for my first car, i can't wait. But anyway....
My dad races a Nissan Gazelle coupe :2f2f: . It runs an LZ20 engine, single Garret T04 turbo, and all this other racing stuff. Its 395rwkW (530hp). It's is pretty cool, and dam loud. When i can, i'll post some pics of it up.

Is it true that the Nissan Gazelles are/were also S12's  ? i was just wondering, because i read it in a magazine and on a site.

Welcome to the sight. S12 is the chassis code for the Gazelle. We got a version called 200SX over here in USA. Google "S12 200SX" and you'll find some good sights for that car. You guys geet some cool cars over there that we don't get: Skyline, Escort Cosworth, Falcon (Mad Max car), GTIR, Etc. Our S13 and S14 Silvias are called 240SX and don't come with a turbo option. Lots of people in USA import the turbo engine to swap into the car. Has your dad let you drive his race car? looking forward to the pics.

Heh, thanks guys. And i'm only 15, turning 16 next year, so i havn't been able to race it yet. He had a nissan stanza before he got the gazelle. it was also a very good car, it was N/A at start, but then he turbocharged it.

But yeah, we got some cool cars here, but you guys in the US have some cool cars aswell. Like the Mitsubishi Eclipse and The EVO's. Mitsubishi Asutralia have are going to be selling EVO 8's next year though, which i guess is good, but a bit late. We have 200SX's here too, but they are like exactly like Silvia S14's and S15's.

Yeah, i'm hoping i can get my L's next year and hopefully my dad'll buy me a 180SX for my first car. Although my friends say its prolly not a good idea to because the cops will always be like looking out for sports coupes like 180SX's and stuff. But i think if i keep it pretty standard until i get my licence, i'll be alright. after i get my licence, my dad is making me do an advanced drivers course, cos he want me to be safe. you prolly have them in the US aswell.

Anyway, i'll try post some pics if i can. if not today, i will tomorrow. :wiggle:

If any of ya want, i could try tell ya some of it's spec later.

Wow, you're so smart you can't even spell "site".

Actually sight is spelled correctly, but used improperly. I misspelled get as "geet". I'm sure you'll learn the difference between spelling and grammar if you manage to finish grade school. My poor grammar and spelling is not a valid reflection of my intelligence. I am actually very smart and educated. I am an engineer who is better at math and design than spelling. I have become a bit lazy and rely on my computer to check spelling and grammar for me. I don't bother to use such tools for casual correspondences. (Confession: I did check this message and fixed 6 errors B4 posting.)
