I just completeled a full Brembo conversion using front and rear 4 piston calipers from a CTS-V. I used the Ctsvbrakeswap front brackets and the street faction rear brackets. I had all the calipers powder coated with the Brembo decal under the final coat of clear. The pedal feel is perfect, not too hard and not too touchy. I used the following parts:

Ctsvbrakeswap front brackets
Street faction rear brackets (ctsv rear primary only)
Front and rear ctsv calipers and pads (gen 1)
Stop tech braided lines
OEM tokico BMC 1 1/16” (cut 3rd fitting from stock BMC)
370z Nismo rear rotors 13.8”
350z track pack front rotors 12.75”

Looks really good, was going to go this route (albeit with the 6 pot fronts) until I scored my ap racing kit. Do you expect to do any tracking at all? Autox? Would be good to see some solid info on how these perform in those settings with our light cars. Also curious to know how easily you can lock them up when warmed up. Hope these start taking off more than they have been, such a good deal for what you get especially with the prices of brand new calipers.

I do plan on auto cross in the future. It is very easy to lock up all 4 wheels at any moment, cold or warm. There still is a lot of room for control before they lock. The biasing is still perfect too.

for anyone considering doing the 6 pot swap: keep in mind the 6 pot calipers are HUGE and will require a minimum of an 18" wheel with the appropriate offset/disk type/spacers ( i did not see this mentioned on the site anywhere). i got some yesterday for my car, and completely underestimated how big they are. while mine are IS-F calipers, they appear to be the same model brembos as the CTS-V calipers with the exception of the external cross over tube and how the brake line banjo mounts (the mounting area itself looks a little different but the pickup points still look the same). i also cant believe how light they are as well.

Since you're using imgur, use this neat-o feature and make you images actually fit on peoples screens :naughty: Huge Thumbnail works really well on Zilvia.

What did you use for a handbrake? I'm looking into doing this, but I want to keep some sort of stock hand brake.

+1 for the e brake inquiry. Were you able to hook up the oem e brake cable deal?

Curious what conversion bracket you used to mount the rear calipers?
