Just got my new window motor installed and re-soldered the amp so my windows work. BUT, the driver window plastic switch is floppy as hell. Any suggestions/recommendations for something to put in place of whatever spring or stick keeps the switch centered so it doesn't burnout the motor if you sneeze on it? S14a 1995

Thanks in advance, first post.

I've got to get around to fixing mine too. I did just find a link describing a fix. Thanks to photobucket there are no pics though.

The pictures are almost necessary with the "descriptions" given. I was thinking about finding like a small arrowed plastic bit and notching a pen spring into it. That's essentially all they are if you look at a functioning one (driver or passenger). Quite frustrating. This would probably be a small money-making idea lmao.

Yeah pictures would really help. I haven't taken mine out to see what's going on with it yet and I haven't had one apart in years but what I gather he is strengthening the cracked shell with the fiberglass. I might pull mine out this evening and see what I can come up with. It's rather annoying having to make sure the switch is in a "neutral" position but after owning 4 s14's now it's just habit lol
