i was thinking 205/50 in front and 225/45 in the back...would that look and fit good?

i'd say 215 55 rear and 205 50 front. remember you have the 16's so you want try and fill it up a bit. try out the yokohama evs 100's though, they are a good all around tire

i was planning on the es100's they are cheap and have good performance. do you have any pics of a 215 55 that seems like a lot of sidewall

ummmmm, no i dont. sorry. but i can make an easy ass recommendation, go to tirekingdom or somewhere like that and ask them to show you that size. its a little bit of sidewall but not much

Actually for the same as stock size tire diameter you're going to need a 205/55R16 for the front. 225/50 rear is cool.

If you want max grip street tires I'd go Kumho MX or Azenis Sports. ES100s are ok for normal driving and drifting.

which kumhos? The MX's should be much better than the ziex....maybe the ziex are better than the ecsta 711 and 712, but i doubt they are better than the mx.

I was going to wait till it snowed to decide on a verdict for these tires... but here are my thoughts so far:

My Falken Ziex in the 205/60/15 stock size are absolutely the worst tire I have driven on. If you ever turn your car, turn away from these tires. Even at over 40psi the sidewalls roll over on minor street maneuvers, and the shoulders are starting to scallop. Grippy? yes, good wet performance? yes, dirt cheap? hell yes..... good performance tire? NO!

lemme get this straight. you want tires that grip good but you don't want them to grip good enough to keep you attached to the road through a turn cause JDMDORIFTARIFFIC is the shiznit?'

p.s. 225's up front and 235's out back :)

All of the tires that the guys have listed are great, but if you want something cheap that are STICKY..... get the Firestone Fuzions. Firestone just put them out. My friend has them on his 40 and even when he rides over LITTLE patches of sand you can hear the sand beating the shit out of the fender wells..... Sticky as hell and that are cheap.

will a 225/50/16 fit on the front?

Might bubble a bit in the front..... but if you can get a good deal on that tire... get them, can always re-sell them.

anyone tried the new Fuzion ZRi's? I have my eye on a set. I've heard nothing but great things about them, and the price is great!
