I'm rebuilding my ka24e and i have the block and head on. All timed perfect, and the tensioner and the guide on both sides. I turn the motor with a wrench and every few turns. The chain on the opposite side of the tensioner slacks hard then grabs again. I watch the tensioner and when it does it the tensioner like collapses and sucks in then comes back out. Is this how it's supposed to be until there's oil pressure? Kinda scares me because i looks like it jumps a tooth everytime it does it but it doesn't.
