Alright, seriously now. The boards have intrigued me on how rare these two-tone coupes really are. I mean, yeah, they look like shit, but are they really rare enough to make them coveted? What do you guys think?

EDITED for clarity

I don't know how rare they are, but I've only seen one and, IMO it's very nice! I couldn't tell what car it was at first, I was concentrating on how good the paint job was. and I don't know what you are implying by coveted, maybe you're asking if it's worth the trouble to hunt one of these down and force the owner to sell it to you? I don't think it's worth it, it'll still be a 10+ year old car.

Well, I have one, and to me it's just a pretty ugly color. I just wanted to know how rare they really are.

I've seen one yellow one, and it had some weird rack on the trunk. I have seen a couple green over gray, and less blue over grey. And I have also seen one red over gray in a junkyard but I forgot to check the paint code to see if it came like that or not. I do recall seeing a few pics from Japan of red over dark gray but never any in the US.

Two-tones are cool and all for a sock car, but don't look to great with certain kits.

That two tone color reminds me of my rents kitchen back in the late 70's.
