I just installed my 370cc injectors, I also have an s-afc installed, the settings were at -27 acrossed the board, the car ran real rough at idle and would bog down at full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. I am not sure if this is normal or if I possibly do not have my afc hooked up right. any imput would be appreciated. thanks.

is this type of situation typical of an overly rich mix? that would mean that my afc is improporly hooked up, how do I tell if it is working? also I have it set 6 in and 6 out is this incorect? thanks.

5 in - 5 out
check the airflow usage percentange when you idle...whats it at?

iam not familiar with safc in the least. but if nothing else switched beside the injectors and the safc then that leads me to believe that you would be running rich and it is not another problem. so either your tune is off, or your hooked up wrong

5 in 5 out, is this even with the stock injectors as well? How would I check the the air flow usage, may sound like a stupid question but I am still trying to figure all this out. also would I know that I hooked the safc up correctly if I change the type of maf and the car starts running real rough?

what would happen if I used 6 in 6 out thanks.

the ecu is calibrated to read the voltage curve known as "hotwire 5" on apexi's stuff. if you show it a different curve, wierd shit will happen depending on how off it is. 5 in - 5 out for any injectors and the stock mafs. if you are using the n62 mafs, 2 in - 5 out. you can check the airflow usage by going into the monitor mode and selecting afl %.

thanks, It was taken off another 240, an 89 and the previouse individual ha it set for 6 in 6 out. so I thought this was correct. How do I know if I have the maf hooked up correctly, I have messed with the high and low throttle settings and it doesnt appear to immediatly change the way the car idles or runs.

I checked the airflow % set up and it does not appear to be working. This I would geusse means that something is not hooked up right? What could I have done wronge?

you wired it according to the manual right?
make sure you used the yellow and white, not pink and orange for the mafs wiring. set it to hotwire 5. 1in-1 out. then set to 4 cyl and make sure the tps is going up and to the right. you can go to the sensor check screen to verify everything is working correctly. the tps voltage should go up when you press the gas, and the mafs voltage should rise. the afl usage should be pretty low at idle, probably between 1 and 5.
get me on AIM if you want to talk about wiring and settings, itll be easier that way. AIM sn = skatanic28
btw....did you have the safc installed before you put the 370's in?
