s14 SMIC

i just want to verified with everyone real quick, will a s14 SMIC fit on to da 91 s13 frame, was it made to, i know i can probably find da facts somewhere but i really am just looking for a yes/no answer to put my mind at ease, thanx

Well, my friend has a S14 SR in his S13 with a S14 SMIC.

correct me if im wrong, but if it's an S13 SR, an S14 SMIC it wont work because the intercooler piping is facing differently. You can use the actual SMIC core, but you'll have to use S13 SMIC piping.

we just about finished an S14 SR swap into my friends 93 fastback, and even tho the brackets don't line up, and we had to drill a hole for hot pipe, the intercooler fits decently.

actually i'm going to hook it up to my KA in a 91, i've seen s14 blacktop in s13 but people usually go for a FMIC, but i'm guessing a little modification is need, but that's ok i'm getting custom piping anywayz so thanx y'all

yes it fits, i've had a s14 SMIC in my car, with the S14 brackets, bolted up like it was meant to be there, minus cutting holes for pipes.
