Currently swapping my automatic blown tranny with a 5 speed. I'm dropping the auto tranny tonight. Bolts are already out though. I've heard people say only some of the bolts from the auto tranny will fit and others won't. Does anyone have any idea on which size bolts will work from the auto tranny, on the 5 speed tranny, and what size bolts/quantity of each I will need to buy?
Second issue is that I've noticed every bolt is a different size. I've done numerous searches looking for some type of diagram or explanation on this but cannot find anything. Does anyone know which size bolts will go where in the bellhousing?
Yes I could sit there while the thing is dangling over my head and try to screw in each one and see which auto bolts will work and where each bolt is supposed to go, but I am trying to avoid wasting time if possible
