Ok.. so I installed some coilovers. And it was low. So when I raised my car up, the spring rubbed on the tire, but only on the passenger side. No ammount of positive or negative camber worked for me, so I ran to the local wheel shop and grabbed some universal wheel spacers. Slapped them on, and now I have this clunk sound as I brake, and navigate parking lots with tight corners. But it's isolated to the driver's side. The one that rubs.
I kinda need to know if this clicking/clunking sound is the wheel spacer sucking, or if it's something in the coilover. There's probably 50 miles on them from when my car was super low, and 3 since I raised it up and added an 8mm spacer. I heard the same clunking as I turned the wheel when it rubbed on the coil spring.
Because if it is the shitty spacer, I'll order a hub/wheel centric spacer set from wheelspacers.com, but if it's something in the coilover assembly, any clues to locating this problem would help me tremendously. Also, anyone have an idea why only the driver's side would rub, while the passenger side has 5mm clearance between the tire and spring?
