Hi All
Quick intro. Names Matt and I live in the UK. I've owned my silvia since 2010 and it's been a rollercoaster of a ride since ownership began.
Imported it myself through a company called SKAY drift. It was a complete Rocket bunny kit complete with the actual wheels from the TRA demo car. Needless to say it wasn't as described. Mapping session discovered that tithe engine was blown . So rebuilt the engine and upgraded A lot of components at the same time. 1 year later it was ready.

Enjoyed it for several months including a few drift days.

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_0906.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_0906.jpg.html)

I then decided to take the car off the road to sort a few issues out. But as always life takes over and it remained off the road for 5 years while I restored it.
Took it to a mates to have tubs on the front and ended up as a complete shell on a spit. If your gonna do it do it right.
Fully undersealed and tubbed front arches and rear arches cut higher *Not got a photo

While the engine was out I did a wire tuck of the fuse boxes but left the engine loom in tact. Also tidied up the engine. Painted the block. Replaced all heater hoses with new and had the pipes 're zinc plated along with all the assembly bolts for the car.
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/20151120_164434.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151120_164434.jpg.html)

Once the bay was painted I could finally start reassembling.
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/20151024_152702.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151024_152702.jpg.html)

It was then onto the suspension and arms. I 're painted the subframes purple. I then raided the ikeya formula catalogue and ordered up all there items apart from the rlca's. Also got a custom set of silk road coilovers matched with 12kg and 10kg springs.
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/20151024_152702.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151024_152702.jpg.html)

It was then onto the kit. The RB kit was played out. I had always loved the spirit Rei 180sx. So I order the [email protected] fenders direct in 2015. I was in talks with the owner about the release date of the complete kit. Then one morning he sends me a message to say it was ready. I ordered the complete kit there and then. This kit is the 3rd one Rei had produced at the time. The first 2 being their demo cars.

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/20151106_194811.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151106_194811.jpg.html)

The rear fenders where blended in as I'm not fussed on the rivet look. Especially with the smooth design of these.
It was then time for paint. I chose ford frozen white due to cheapness per ltr as the budget was shrinking daily. I also replace 80%of the weather seals on this car aswell. Basically everyone that was still available through Nissan Japan.
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/mjeffery19/Mobile%20Uploads/20160917_160447.jpg (http://s98.photobucket.com/user/mjeffery19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20160917_160447.jpg.html)

I then took it for mapping and got a healthy 360 bhp at 1.3bar with room left for more.

I finally got the car road legal 2weeks ago and finally finished the body work. Just waiting to get the spoilers fitted.
Won an MCR factory rocker cover in the Tuned Japan raffle a few months back. Was gonna sell it but it finished the bay off perfectly.
This build has been very strenuous and several times I contemplated stripping and giving up. Having to travel 360miles round trip certainly took their toll. But I'm so glad I finished my dream car.
Anyway I've rambled on enough. I'll let the pics do the talking. Thanks for looking.

Never realised you were Taunton based, I'm only up the road near Cheddar. Ian's in Bristol.

Followed this on DW, very high level of work put in. Love the final look.

I've had a few but no fun cars at the moment, can't afford one. Yeah send me a PM when you know when you're next free, you'll have to come check out the gorge, prime photo location, not far off a touge road either.

Yea pretty stoked with it. Just need to mop the car once the spoilers are fitted.
Want to lower it a touch more aswell. Too much gap between floor and bumper

I wasn't expecting this... Nice work my man! Nice to see you tore it down, and built it back up right.

Cheers buddy. Wasn't the initial plan but I'm a sucker for things being done right so no other choice but to rebuild it fully. At Least I know what's been done now. When funds allow I'd like to drop back again and get the whole shell strengthened as it's too flimsy in areas for my liking.
