Well I did a school at Roebling road raceway in Savannah GA about a month and a half ago and had a blast. When you get bumper to bumper with another car about the same specs as yours and you guys are battling it out through corners at 80-130mph there is nothing like it!!! 10 hours of track time for $375!!! worth its weight in gold. For more info go to www.chinmotorsports.com Anyway, its a 20meg vid so RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS! http://www.planb-attack.com/jay/rrr.wmv

Come on, run over those burms you pussies. Other than that, fucking looks great and I'm super jealous, especially of that truck and trailer setup. I've never really run a track at speeds like that. Max I've hit is 100mph on a track. Any super extreme braking areas? What kind of pads were you running?

"Oh you mean the truck? the truck has a Hemi too" hehehehe
I think we got up to about 130 or so in the front straight and you brake at the 500 foot mark to about 70 through 1 and 2, then right before 4 you brake hard for just a second so it's really easy on brakes, I just used stock 300zx pads and didnt really experience any fade until after 8-10 laps.

Did you guys notice the blue and red open cockpit car behind me and my buddies S14 that one lap??? It's called a Radical and the guy took me for a ride in it!!! Check this shit, its an open cockpit prototype style with full downforce that weighs a mere 1200lbs and has a 1500cc stroked Hyabusa motor in it producing 250hp!! We were going 155 in the straight and braking to 90 at the 150ft mark!!!! I thought my balls were gonna come out of my throat!!! I have never been so simultaneously scared and thrilled at the same time. I think I turned a 1:29 there in my car on street tires, and he can turn a 1:05 by himself in that car, try and fathom how much faster that is....... He's basically cutting my lap time by one third lol. He says that it already holds all kinds of records for laps on tracks including the Nurburgring. And get this shit, they already have a turbo version producing 330hp, and next year they will unveil the 3.0L V8 weighing only another 150lbs but producing 400hp! Can you say REGODDAMNDICULOUS?!?!?

Ever since that ride I have been inspired to build something stupid like that and so far I have come up with quite possibly the most insane and brillant idea ever. I have decided to take a 2003 yamaha R1 motor producing 152hp and install it on a 300lb gocart. :duh: Ever seen the video Gixxercart? Well right click, save as and enjoy: http://jeremy.natesnetwork.com/vids/GixxerCart.wmv Keep in mind that the cart in that vid only had 115ps HAHHAHAHHAHHHAHA

I can't even imagine what it must feel like to sit shotty in a real race car. I'm scared enough as it is when i sit shotty in my own car. I've seen that gixxercart before. So sick!!! As for the R1 cart. DO IT!!! And post that shit up here.

I've always had dreams of building a 1500lb car with a turbo Busa motor in it. Those things are known to push over 400hp with turbo's. If you dont believe me check out ghostrider

I'm gonna lose my mind waiting until spring for the next HPDE event!!!!!

So what kind of classes/rules did they have? I noticed that you were able to pass on the straights, without a point-by, which is cool but usually reserved for drivers with alot of seat time.

Damn I gotta get to the track.
