I recently put an AEM wideband on my car just to have for the future. And driving around I noticed that my car leans out hard under full throttle. Part throttle is perfectly fine. I like the read in lambda so 1.00 is perfect and it bounces around .95 to 1.05 which is about 14.0 to 14.7 or something. But when I go WOT it leans hard to in the 17.0:1 and higher. I believe that problem is because my camshaft for some reason is holding my valves open. (I'm swapping it next weekend) So I got an SAFC controller from my friend just to have for the future. I think it was on a civic but everything reads, RPM, TPS, Air Flow. And I guess the single cam ECU only has an input signal from the MAF so I put the output and input from the controller to the one wire on the ECU. I try to adjust the trims and it changes absolutely nothing. Doesn't matter if I'm driving around, idling, or free revving. It can be +50% or -50% across the board and it will change nothing. I really want to figure this out so any help is welcome.

So what you're saying is you don't know how to wire the unit in?

You can't put an IN and OUT on the same single.

The maf wire is supposed to be cut and wired in/out of the controller. You do not tap in to the maf wire like you do all of the other wires.

It should be

Maf wire closes to maf goes to the safc IN wire.

The safc OUT wire goes to the long maf wire which goes to ecu/engine.

lol, the safc intercepts the maf signal, safc out continues to the ecu. Do your self a favor and read this thread,

So I need to run a wire into the engine bay directly to the MAF? (In or Out wire?)

I'm reading off this pinout because it's almost the only one out there. Wire 16 (White) is the input, so I put the input wire off the SAFC there? And the output needs to be ran in the engine bay or is there a wire on the ecu I can use?

I think I understand now, I run the output more towards the ECU and the input more towards the MAF on the same wire?

Got it, didn't realize that you have to actually cut the MAF wire. I can adjust it as I need now. Thanks
