Hello to all,

I was searching for a turbo for my RB25 NEO engine on S14 chassis.
I will drive my car at drift events.
I have searched forums but couldn't find the answer in my head.
I dont have too much knowledge on turbos but as far as i have searhed, there must be an optimum decision between the power goal and response.

My engine is unopened. Just an aftermarket intake manifold, throttle body, FMIC and Nistune ECU.
I need to keep my engine unopened and want my engine to produce 500 hp @ crank at least with the best responsive turbo available.
When i checked Garrett turbos, GTX2867, GTX3071 and GTX3076 turbos looking nice as their HP ratings good enough for my golas. And i see most of RB25 drivers using GTX3076. I wonder how these turbos differ at rosponse and how the balance of power goal and response should be when it comes to drfiting. For me, being responsive is one step further than the maximum HP. At the same time, why should i loose top end power if there is very less difference on response between two turbos.

I wonder what experienced people think on these turbos, response and power ratings.

Gtx3076 we just made 417 on 12psi with our shop owners car.
Destroked rb25
(20crank/rods 1mm over pistons 25block/pistons) walked head a lot to regain compression

Thanks for sharing .
Was that turbo 0.63 A/R ?

I also would like to know how 3071R 0.83 A/R and 3076R 0.63 A/R differs at response side?
Anybody has an experience?

EFR7163 will be amazing on an RB25 I THINK the T3 bolts on to the stock manifold but don't quote me on that (worse case you'll have to use a spacer) with a turbosmart dual port internal wastegate actuator it'll be fun.
