This movie is awesome. It shows the story of two guys with big cojones who decided to leave their upper class lifestyle to travel through a majority of South America. On a freakin motorcycle! That motorcycle was hardcore because like my car it bleeds oil forever but keeps on going. One of the two guys was the ultimate bullshitter so that helped him get money and ass. The other was more of a shy person "CHE" who made every person he met become a part of him, very pensive man in the movie and is also portrayed to care too much about one girl to really take advantage of getting some on the road. If you like what you hear slap yourself for not having watched it already. It's in spanish so if you don't understand get ready to read subtitles you high school spanish class flunkies. :bigok:

True story, it all happened for real, this isn't some fictitious story someone made up or nothing like that... I read a couple of Che's biographies last year and I am PISSED that I cannot see this movie anywhere around here. So pissed that I actually went out and bought "The Motorcycle Diaries" book today.

I started looking up some stuff and found a Che forum where they have good info on him and his beliefs. Majority of them being firm believers of socialism of course. Very interesting stuff.

Not exactly pissed I have to read, Che is a subject I have read up on at great length before, I am more pissed that I had to buy the book in lieu of watching a movie on a subject I am SURE was covered in one of the books I have read... I'm the same way with writings on/about Marcus Garvey, to him to the point where I sit and thumb through the book before leaving the store with it.
