Dear Friends,

need some advise on the problem i am facing... i have freshly built sr20det complete rebuilt, with cp pistons and rods. completly built head . and on 6466 turbo. and on AEM v2 recenlty i went to dyno the car was making 451whp on 19psi of boost. but problem i was facing on dyno was i was hiting my full boost on 7k plus rpms .

after that i check all the things but couldnt find the problem . then i test the compression all the pistons where showing only 100 compression and on wet it shows 130 compression. which is extremly low.

now tell me what could be the problem ... there is no smoke, no missing and no problem at the engine till now. .. could it be the rings ? but then how all the rings gone bad at once...

Please guide or help me if anybody knows the problem or advise me somthing.

The engine may not have been timed correctly when re-assembled?? Or the engine is indeed blown :(

i will recheck the timing tomorrow again. i also think there is some thing which i miss in the timing but if engine is gone how its still making to much power with no smoke , or missing or anything . it runs smothly , lock smothly ...

What cams are you running, they can affect compression, but not sure if it would by that much...

you may not be fully broken in yet...aka rings aren't fully set

timing is probably off or vale is staying open slightly and not allowing full compression stroke. if plugs aren't wet and oily looking, I'd suspect valve seal as an issue.
