My T28 is toast. It need a compressor wheel replacement, maybe and exhaust wheel too. Do you know where you guys get it rebuilt?

http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/index.html does rebuilds for like $250. I hear that ball bearing turbos cost a lot more to rebuild but im not sure at all. So if your T28 isnt bb then you should be good.

a Gt25r is too laggy for my needs.

As for rebuilding, I guess changing both wheels will cost 200$ more in parts, add 100$ more in labour and I am at 550$... sucks. :(

http://crossimg.datanext.co.jp/4DCGI/WEBINPUTCREATETHUMBIG_1376-320041004-5010_213013.jpg well this here is the T518Z pretty much a hybrid T28 but with better flow rate you can safely get about 390hp out of it has T3 flage bolts right into your stock SR manifold or a takoashii (stainless manifold) it is actuated and well it has a beefy power band 3K-4900 that is a rough guess. I can get you the whole kit for around $2000 us that is a complete kit or I can get you the used turbo for around $950. I had the T518Z on my 180 but the T517Z is just a tad bit smaller. bad ass turbo though for Driting and auto X

AceInHole offered me 200$ for that blown turbo...
it has chipped compressor fins...
as for exhaust, it seems nice, but i haven't opened it.
has some axial shaft play too.

he bought a blown T28 and needed a whole centre cartridge, $600 CAD

for that kind of money you might as well ship it to me for a few loonies and buy a HKS turbo
