hi i have a big problem... i have a 90' 240sx with a t3/t4 turbo w/intercooler, my car will not start... there is no spark! i have
new cap and rotor
new spark plug wires
new ignition coil
new spark plugs
new (to me) but used 93 fuel pump
i just got a RB20/25DET Mass Air Flow Sensor and i dont really know how to connect all that but i tried...
the timing chain is still good and turning and none of the fuses are blown... i have no more ideas... i checked as much as i could but can't find anything...
my fuel tank is about an eighth full... maybe i need fuel?
also one more thing, i just put the FMU on... lots of fuel dripped out while i was putting it on... but it didnt start b4 this happened
and one more thing... i messed with the vaccum lines... the FPR line i spliced in half if that has to do with anything....
if anyone can help me that would be great... thanks

Check the sensor wires that are supposed to be grounded at the engine block directly above the oxygen sensor... Is it connected?? Check the ground strap that runs from the engine block to the firewall...Is it connected??
If both the sensor wires & ground wires are connected, then put your ECU into Diagnostic mode & see what codes kick out....
Hope this helps...

thanks for the info... im not sure the MAF is connected right tho... sense its a Skyline MAF on a KA there is like an inner tube with a black and a white wire which makes it four wires to three... i connected the both wires to the single black wire... dunno if thats right... but any help with the MAF that would probably get my problem fixed... so it did come down to the MAF... do u know if i blew anything wiring the MAF sensor wrong?

welp.... its not the MAF.... i tried putting back the stock one and it did no better... so i have to run a diagnostic and see whats wrong... but i dont have one... so what should i do? buy one or let the shop take care of it... im just looking for the cheaper way out... thanks

It's a ka24de correct? Sounds like you may not be getting a crank signal. Do you have another distributor you could put in or have you messed with the connector lately? When you turn the car on do you get a single spark out of the coil?
Check for power at the coil also. Could have a faulty wire somewhere but that's where I'd start. Did this just start after wiring up the rb maf or all of a sudden?

i have a KA24E Sohc... but there is this black and has a white dot wire that's loose with a rubber connector... but other than that yah it happened when i put the rb MAF in... it just almost started one time then after that it just cranks with no spark... the rotor spins so the timing chain is still there and i replaced the ignition coil after this happened it doesnt spark at the coil... but it does heat up... that meant it was running.... so it should be some part b4 the coil then right?

i have not messed with the distributor connectors till today... i tested the distributor and there was no spark at all... my distributor went bad i guess... i wish i had another distributor... i have to go find one or go to autozone... damn thing is 300 bucks over there...
but now my fuel isnt flowing... i hear the pump working but its not coming through the lines ever since i slapped the FMU on... will it start working once the new distributor is in?
