i am going to fabricate my own wheel spacers for my 240 and i was wondering what material would be best and most cost efficient. and also would anyone be interested in buying the spacers cuz i have access to a machine shop and i was thinkin about makin a lot of em if it turns out good. let me know.

If you don't know the answers to these questions, I want nothing to do with your spacers! as will be the case with most of the people with half a brain on here.

you think my machining skills are not up to par because im debating what metal to use? yea...okay. im trying to decide and get people's opinions about it, well SMART people's opinions.

Anyway You should use some good aluminium, although what "number" i have no idea. You can easily find out what others use at www.wheeladapters.com and other sites.
It isn't that hard to find out!
note, you'll need access to probably more than just a few typical millers or whatever they're called... I watched Fred Goeske (owner of wheeladapters.com) make mine, and it's quite some process. The only thing even remotely done by hand is the specification input into the computer, and then the pressing of studs into the spacer.
