Hey guys,
I'm just curious, when ur car is totaled, the insurance pays the blue book price of the car. Which price is it, is it the retail one or the private party price? If its the retail price, that would be sweet becaues I would get 3600 for my car that rolled. That would be a cool thing to help me recuperate my losses. Plus, if thats the case, then the people who drift their car alot and buy their car for like 1000 might gain a few if they accidently total it while drifting. LOL. Thanks for the info anyways.

from my experience its the private party price (which is a more accurate reflection of the real value of the car anyway). if you're nice to the adjuster (assuming they send one) you can squeeze out a bit more. i got about 3k for my old '93 camry a year back.
