Having a weird single cam issue that I can't seem to figure out...whenever my car warms up, I experience bad hesitation under 2k rpms. I have to give it a lot of gas to get it going. It also idles pretty rough.

I've replaced all the cheap stuff, cap and rotor, wires, coolant temp sensor, fuel filter, tested MAFs, tested TPS, cleaned IACV, and checked timing. When I put in fuel injector cleaner, the car runs slightly better for a week and then gets worse again, so I'm leaning towards a fuel issue.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Advice is greatly appreciated.

Make sure the connection between your harness and the ecu is tight.

There should be a bolt on the back side of the connector. Tighten that to 26-43 in/lbs.

NOT FT/lbs.!!! (Pulled those numbers from the Nissan Silvia Manual)

I just had this issue with my car and a lose connector turned out to be the culprit.

Hope this helped, good luck.

Hmm, I've never though of that. I definitely read that as ft/lbs at first and was really confused.

Thanks for the idea, I'll give it a try

thats like 3 ft*lbs isnt it, so not very tight.
