Hey,
Does anybody have any experience with using 350z axles in a s13 chassis. I'll be swapping to a 5bolt Z32 NA differential.
Thank you,
Michael

Well, 350Z axles have 6 bolts, so you'll have to figure out if the stubs fit the z32 diff.

The 6 bolt pattern is the same as 6 bolt Z/Q stub shafts.
The outer splines fit s13 hubs.
Figure it out.
(it'll work)

Awesome! I'm going to order a set then. So the length won't be an issue if I'm at stock ride height though?
Thanks,
Michael

According to that thread the length is fine, you just need to matching 6 bolts stubs in the differential. Z32 is 5 bolts.

I cut the sub frame and used the 350z diff also since it has a cd009 trans to keep gearing proportionate extended rear lower control arms 3/4 of an inch if i can recall correctly the diff is half inch wider total id guess the diff your using would only need half inch width per side increase for the axle length.

The last question, If I found a J30 6 bolt with ABS, Is it possibly to put the J30 output flanges into the Z32 NA diff?
Should fit considering they're both R200?
Thanks for the help guys,
Michael

Swap in a S14 subframe, then buy maverick motorsports 350z/g35 conversion bushings so you can bolt the diff in without modification. That way you get the diff and axles that match.

While that sounds like a good idea, I just found the J30 diff at my local pull a part..
And I dont mind pulling the diff apart to fit it.

That's a different bolt pattern, a simple google search would of answered that for you.
I have a set of brand new Maverick Motorsports axle adapters with hardware for sale that i ended up not being able to use. (Twin Turbo Z32 are slightly different) let me know if you're interested.

Last of the last, ugh:
Couldn't I just put the j30 LSD/ carrier into my open diff, provided I swap the ring gear on the carrier and also change the output shafts? Essentially like installing a new aftermarket differential...
If this doesn't work I guess I'll just have to go to axle adapters
