Hey guys. I'm new here and I've recently bought a a 96 240sx. The guy I bought it off of said there was a vacuum leak, but when my dad and I let it idle and run, it didn't seem like there was one. Well recently, my car started to die out whenever I am at stop light for a long ass time. We changed the spark plugs, air intake (cleaned it as well) and we also changed the fuel pump. It always seems like it gets better but it still shuts off. I've also noticed it has a higher chance of shutting off if I fill up the tank the same day. I'm kind of thinking its the vacuum leak, but I've searched it up and other people said it was BOV or IACV. So I'm not sure what to do. I appreciate if you guys help me out. This issue has gotten annoying.

Thanks!

Well start with maybe I don't know... A vacuum test? Pressurize the system and listen for leaks.
