I live in Kingsport and this is a local guy who imports and installs JDM engines. Tell him Josh from Depash told you to call. If you buy from him you will at least get to see the engine before you buy it.

Buying a motor from ebay is probably the most retarded thing you could ever do. Do you know if it was compression tested? If so, what are the numbers? Has it been leak down tested? That motor could be the shittiest running motor ever. "Startup guarantee." What if it starts up and it's running on 3 cylinders?

Flybert, you dont know very much do you.. Any motor can have problems, My first sr was from a shop and i installed it, compression was good, nice and clean.. But i start it up and boom the turbo was blown and was smoking like a bitch, They gave me a s13 blacktop instead.. When you buy a USED motor you take that chance. No matter if you buy it over the computer or buy it from a local shop.. He is jsut taking a larger risk of getting ripped off...
