She (Sylvee) is pretty clean. She is a 1993 with 168k miles. She has a bit of surface rust on the deck lid. Other than that the body is in good condition for an 11 year old car that was driven by an Auburn University student. The interior is in really good shape. Of coure I plan to replace the seats with sparco seats and order some new carpet as her carpet is really stained. She is not going to be my daily driver though. I am going to do a SR swap (right now Sylvee is only running on 3 cylinders). Body kit, paint etc. Hope to have a car that will out run my bosses 1965 Ford Falcon (http://www.65falcon.com) when I'm finished with her.

Looks like a nice deal... you in the mood to make a little quick cash and send that up to Wisconsin? :x: Worth a try... What are the options? Does it run? We can't tell how well you did just from the pictures... :(
Edit: Notice I asked this question the same time he posted above... :fart:

That's Cool. Believe it or not she runs really well on 3 cylinders. I work about 45 miles from home. I have driven her to work on several occassions to keep the miles down on my truck.
I plan to set the car up to drag and to autoX. Looks like I have found a good source of information here at Zilvia.
I have ordered my SR and it should be here in about 8 weeks. I hope to have her up and running by spring.

you cant go wrong for buying that s13 for only 400. and it runs too thats a plus. drive it till the engine goes and then swap.

Don't worry I won't be on the standard BW. The guys I work with make fun of me because I bought the 240 instead of a mustang or camero or an old falcon (like the boss' Click here for his pics (http://www.65falcon.com) ). So it will have to be way above standard.
What did you do to get in the "doghouse" and a pink name?

Exitspeed- Yeah, I'm from Milwaukee, looking for a chassis for my RB26. Anyone and everyone, keep an eye out for a car for me, I'm pretty desperate right now. Anything manual, no sunroof, no rust or bondo. Even then, the only important things are no rust or bondo. Naturally I prefer dohc, but, nearly everything's being ripped out at some point or another, so it really doesn't matter. I'm willing to pay shipping from anywhere in US to Milwaukee, and the car can cost up to $2k (that being the most perfect car imaginable, manual 1993 no sunroof, power windows and locks, no major dents or dings, no history damage, pref. running at $2k) Let me know guys, I'm so desperate for RWD I even plan on checking out a Mazda FC3S tomorrow in Milwaukee, just to get my fix... please... don't let me drop a grand on a Mazda... :-/ (btw, I love FCs, so, take it easy on those boys...I just should know enough to stay the hell away!)

Wait, hold on. How come it was $400? Was it because of the mileage or the the fact that there's a 3cylinder engine it it, with the high mileage? My gawd, I can't even find a 240 like that.

Well I got it that cheap because I am the Sales Manager for Carl Gregory Ford (http://www.carlgregoryfordlm.com) in Ft. Payne, Alabama. I appraised the car when we traded for it. Our used car manager did not know what he had so I put a low number on it. Then I BOUGHT it. Right Place, Right Time, and the 2 Right Dumbasses.

oh, so you CHEATED? good job. my family owns a dealership, i know how that shizzle flies. too bad we never get any cool used cars.
24Zero
10-09-2004, 12:20 PM
I did not cheat. My customer left happy. I sold a new Mustang therefore my boss was happy. I just took advantage of the situation. What's wrong with that?

Lucky cheater! I'm just kidding, good job making the most of your situation. Keep us updated on your build-up, seeing the beginning through to completion would be cool. I know I'm still having troubles finding a chassis, so if you ever get bored with it... :D
Good job on the sale.
