So i drove to school one day, and after the painful day at school, i get back to my car it starts to act all whacked. Starts, but rough idle than stalls, if i gas up a lil it stays alive, if i gas up a lot it dies. So i called my mom to pick me up...

So today is the 2nd day, after checking all spark plug and changing fuel filter on the spot... :tweak: i've eliminated all possiblity other than the MAF is bad. Since they cost an arm and a leg, and i'm a college student, i'll save up for it. But for now i need to get my car back home... can't leave it here for too long!!!!

So fellow zilvians will anyone lend a helping hand and let me borrow a KA24DE MAF?!? call me, i need it asap (310)938-2058. I just need to get my car back home!!! I'll give people free rides in my cool car after :wiggle:

Call around & find someone with a Automobile Club of Southern California membership . Have them meet you at your school, then have them call AAA. As long as the AAA member is present, they will tow your car back to your home, (provided it's in a 7 mile radius) for free. If they have AAA Plus, then AAA will tow it 100 miles free. Towing range depends on the type of membership you have...Basic = 7 miles or less, (anything above that they charge), Plus = 100 miles or less.
That way you can get your car home & figure out what really's causing your dying problem....sure it's not a leaking or disconnected vacuum line??
Anyhow, hope this helps.
