I need an engine hoist, is it worth it to just buy one? or should I just rent it, this probably wont be the LAST motor I pull but who knows. Maybe someone in the NY area wants to lend one to me =]

if you have a place to keep one and plan on doing a few swaps i'd just buy one

Advance Auto parts rents tools, or Northern. I think even Harbor Freight does now.

ok when I went to pull my ka out, I rented one for 50 bux, im like ok thats not too much, then I realized I can get one for 200, that means for 4 pulls or installs It would be paid for. I then went and bought one, it doesnt take up much space when folded up and is very handy. then rent it to people u know.

buy it. crap happens then all of a sudden you gotta rent an extra day and that 50 turns into 100. then you gotta help a friend pull and you do somethign wrong blah blah blah it pays for it self... TRUST ME. i wish i got one a long time ago ive done a half dozen swaps...

if you think about it... a 52lb japanese girl wouldnt be very useful because she would be either way too young or way too decayed from being in a crate....
