this is what the person had to say..

'this is a '90 nissan 240sx with 170k miles, engine still runs strong but has a minor oil leak and a rattle when it gets about 3k rpm. the interior is in good shape.. someone tried to paint some vents but used the wrong paint, has a corbeau seat and simpson 5 point restraint on the drivers side. has greddy look-a-like muffler, coil overs, dropped about 2-3 inches, 17x7 ADR wheels.. only 2-3 months old.. not my main driver so they're still beautiful, boxes of extra parts. this car would be perfect to throw an sr20det engine into.. don't have the money to do it myself, hate to see it go but thats how life is."

lets see:

corbeaus, imported front end, decent rims... on a car that's worth round 2K...

buy it and sell it to someone that isn't just jumping on the bandwagon.

p.s. you just got made fun of by a guy with a pink name.

yea get it, sell the wheels, seats, front end, get rid of the coilovers if there not real coilovers. piece together a front end when pick n pull has 50% off sale. fix the oil leak and take out the chaing guide and sell it for like 2500

well let figure the front end is worth 750-1000, the seat and harness is worth 200-300, the wheels another 200-400. if he has real coilovers then that's another 500-1200 depending on the type. even if it's just ebay coils then with the other stuff you are getting at a minimum half the asking price in sellable aftermarket parts. that's not including whatever spare parts he's giving you. i

mmm its a 90 s13 which means its sohc. 3k rattle is serious on a sohc.

you could still make some money parting it out. but dont expect to drive it for a long time on that engine.

b/c you can make some money off those worthless parts. At least ditch the ADR's and exhaust....

WTF, I'm having a hard time finding a straight, rist free fastback that I'm going to completely rebuild, and you Cali guys get this for cheaper than I can get a 1989 auto with a massive dent in the rear fender. Bandwagon or not, I think my engine in a Sileighty would still be neat... I do love my pop ups though.

I say, buy the car if you want it. If not, give me the link to it, I'll have it shipped here, and I'll spend the Winter de-ricing it. God, I need to get crackin'...
