welp, this all happened a few weeks ago and ive been too buisy to post it up...

going down my street to get a tire of mine fixed, a lady in a 2000 blue v-6 mustang decided to make a left turn about 8-10 feet in front of me... it should go without saying that both of us collided and my left front hit her right front... i knew right away that my car was totalled before i even got out of the car. she was written a failure to yeild ticket and her insurance company is going to give me $1,750 for the totaling of my car.

her excuse "oh, i didnt bother to look"...it didnt piss me off that she just totalled my car, the fact that she never appoligized is what made me mad. at least my car did more damage to hers :)

on a side note, i also got screwed b/c im only 18...that means her insurance company would love to give me a rental car to get to work, but wait...im 18 and there is no car rental place that will rent to me :(

here is the damage:

about a month before all this happened, on friday the 13th a street sweeper rearended me at a stop light, and it didnt do much damage, but there was still damage done. i come to later find out that the asshole was driving with a suspended drivers license and the insurance card he provided was fake. many many attempts to contact him have failed, so im screwed on that one... the cop that i called to show up to the scene of the accident took his sweet ass time getting there (took almost 30 min) and when he got there i asked him what we should do and he says "just exchange information" , i then tell him that ive never been in an accident before and that i dont know what info to get. he says "oh, you'll figure it out"... turns out if the cop did his fucking job, this asshole in the streetsweeper would have been arrested on the spot for driving with out a license and insurance fraud...yeah ive had a few choice words with all of the police uppers

heres the damage from that one:

(DEEP scrapes on the bumper)

sucks man.. a year ago my car was vandalized.. i had full coverage insurance so i bought an sr wiht the money and primered my car.. early this year, I had some old lady rear end me with an astrovan.. no damage so i let her go... a few months later, i get in a hit and run, basterd ran and i chased him and wrote is license plate down (i had liability insurance then).. insurance company didnt do jack sayin the plate number i gave em was invalid and go to dmv and search it myself and contact him... i still got he damage but fixed majority of it, just needs patching and paint... a few months later, my mom backs into my door... long term damage- recently my door lock decides to quit.. so i bought a replacement door.

so yah man i feel ur pain.. if anymore stuff happens, imma leave the car scene and just get a regular car or bike.

a few months later, my mom backs into my door...

yeah that was what my step mom left me for a christmas present... a $1,700 dent on the drivers side door, all the way to the end of the rear quarter pannel

Dude, with that money you can go out and buy a new one. Don't see what the problem is. Shoot, you can even buy your old car back from the insurance company and have a cheap parts car lying around.

i was actually selling the car to a friend b/c my parrents dont want to have my car just sitting in the driveway until i get back from training (its from october to may)

and it doesnt make sense to me to go out and buy a new car for only a month and have to either pay for storage or sell it...

lol, and i am also parting a few things out of it anyway... :)

dude that sucks...

i don't think its unfixable though.

any damage to a car that old would automatically 'total' the car.

with a car-part, and a good junkyard, i think you could put her back together. or get a new one and strip the old one to hell.

good luck though... sorry to hear it. :(

i should have popped the hood and taken a few pics of it...but the radiator core support is all messed up...plus i dont feel like messing around trying to get the headlights right...

if you also notice, the only good body pannel is the right rear...everyone else has problems...

Did you at least get the money from the insurance company for a rental car? When I was 17 and some girl hit me i made her insurance co. just give me the money for a rental car even though i knew i couldn't get one. Free 125 bucks.
