saw a 2 tone silver-grey hatchback sohc at the junkyard yesterday, I thought it was a myth... must be rare.

junk yard had a few s13s, no hicas models or anything tho, mainly plain janes. One had the factory spash gaurds, maybe i should pick em up...

One of these days I need to make a junkyard trip just for the hell of it. I love finding stuff like that... it's weird '80s car heaven.

I need to think of some part that I actually need, though, haha.

The rarest two tone to see is the "80's fridge yellow" with black bottom. It's the ugliest combo I have ever seen on the planet and it was on a coupe. Now I bet you've never seen that mothafuckas.

have you guys seen that white/gold two tone coupe rolling around the bayarea? i saw it twice, i dunno if they painted it or if it came stock like that.. but it looks badass! the car was stock, btw.. i wish i could've taken a pic of it :(.. o wells..

take a pic of that two tone fastback.. i dont think ive ever seen one.. :)

white/gold was japan only. ill bet it was painted. the only two-tone hatch ive seen was an EDM 200SX.

i remember last year seeing a green/silver coupe on teh freeway driven by a middle aged women and the car had a few dents... i soo wanted to flag her down adn ask if she was willing to sell it.

one of the junkyards around my area had a 2 tone silver gray coupe about 2 years ago as well..body looked great..didn't look like it belonged there...then another yard very recently crushed everything they had(including about 8 s13's that were weeeeelllll picked over) and got in the even more rare than the silver gray 2 tone...they have a yellow/gray 2 tone..of all things..lol but its been picked over too..these yards around here get well used...

I saw fridge yellow with BROWN trim, 2 tone.
beat that mutah fucka.
was repainted yellow, I believe, had overspray on the front.

Atleast you get S13's in NC, I haven't even seen one of them, in Orlando, or Florida for that matter. But I never heard of a 2 tone siler-gray hatchback sohc. Does anyone have a pic of this type of car? or a link would be fine.

I recently just saw a clean two tone silver/charcoal coupe at pick-n-pull of all places. Most of the engine/interior was stripped, but the shell was straight and mostly dently free. A sad sight indeed.

and why are you selling the coupe JKim?

Hatchbacks didnt come with two tone. It was a repaint. See socal240sx.org for the color code chart. says so right there.

nah i think 2tone hatch is like super rare... cuz i dont really think alot of people would have considered painted a stock hatch into it... If I go to the junkyard this weekend, Ill sneak my digicam and snap a pic of the 2tone hatch. my dad used to have a 2tone nissan hardbody pickup black &silver... as well was there pathfinders. I guess it was nissan's trend.

I have a coupe with the 80's fridge yellow (creamy yellow) with metallic silver around the bottom borders. I didn't know they were actually rare... I actually wanted to paint it... :-X And yes, i'm hispanic, so i took offense to the reference.

beige/grey and silver/grey are DIFFERENT.. silver/grey was JDM only, I have pics of both the fenders to prove it. socal240sx.org has the color chart too, its not there

ask mr. metabolism, he knows cus he in Japan.

I've seen the chart... it looked pretty stock, original paint look... but you never know it could have been painted. It was driven by some old asian guy... doesn't matter to me haha
