After much debate and possible job relocation to California, I have decided to put my Skyline up for sale. It was imported March 23rd to Nova Speedshop in Northern Virginia by my close friend and I purchased it roughly a week later after the paperwork was finalized.

Since acquiring it has been my daily driver in and out of Washington D.C. and hasn't skipped a beat and performed flawlessly. The car is almost completely stock, but the changes will be listed below. Reason for selling is to move cross country and get another 911, though I have strongly debated getting another daily and storing this.

The car itself has 99,xxx KMs at this time, which equates to about 61,xxx miles. It has been meticulously maintained and runs fantastic. The cluster was replaced at 53,xxx KMs in Japan and replaced with a Nismo unit which displays 43,380 KMs (and slowly growing as it is my daily).

Price: $24,000 USD

Appraisal form will also be provided to buyer for Insurance/Loan purposes. Car is currently titled, tagged, registered and insured in Virginia.

Contact information will be provided via Private Message.

Exterior:
Resprayed at some point in its life in Japan, I will say its not the best respray, but it shines up well and sufficient for daily driver duties.

Interior:
Tomei Shift knob
HKS Glovebox Gauge Console
HKS Turbo Timer
HKS Boost Controller
No bubble dash
All electrics work (except clock)

Suspension/Chassis:
Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers
Nismo Front Tension Rods
Perfectly straight frame rails and pinchwelds

Engine:
Mines JAZMA cat-back exhaust

I'm not entirely sure on the cost/process to bring it into ARB conformance, but something makes me think total cost after shipping and conformance, would be over $11k.

theres at least 1 person I know of who took the time to get a r32 gtr signed off as 100% California compliant and FULLY legit, and it cost him around $12k.

is it worth the cost? not really, imo. you're better off keeping your home state license and keeping the car registered there.

Don't use zip ties for mounting your license plate!!! Buy my adapters. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks.

As great as the skyline is....I couldn't justify that expenditure either....especially just to pull all the parts off once it passes. :keke:

unfortunately blowjobs won't cover the cost. I would knock $500 off a girl was interested.

Were you on 270 North, just before Germantown @ around 12-1 yesterday? I am pretty sure I passed a black R32 as I was heading south. I do know of one other in the Frederick/Hagerstown area I see often in the CP area (I work in DC).

Nope, I try to avoid 270/inner loop as much as possible unless it is late at night.

There are quite a few popping up...I'm actually looking to setup a meeting sometime soon to see them all.

Are you kidding me? Even after being exempt from FMVSS and EPA regs, you still have to make an R32 CARB legal?! I loved living in San Diego when I was there, but California-you're ridiculous.

That's insane. There was a guy I used to see driving around North Island that had a black ECR33 he brought back from Japan when I was still stationed in SD. I wonder how he got that past customs...

Oh well, enjoy the free bumps and glws! If I had a place with a garage, I'd be all over this. No way in hell am I street parking an R32 in Chicago.
