Hi guys so Ima little confused I have a s13 with sr and I want to do the s14 water neck mod for a new coolant return but I was just wondering with what would you cap the stock return with anyone have any pictures I just googled the shit out of this but not much info any help would be appreciated

Do you have an oem S14 water neck or an after market one?

I have the Isis s14 water neck with the extra temp sensor hole

It can either be a temp sensor hole or a return/feed can't remember which one, for your turbo coolant. So instead of going to the back of the block like the stock turbo line does. You can connect it to the neck instead.

Yea I know that I'm asking what do I cap the back with tho once u relocate the water lines ??

It is just the one and that is a return for the coolant to go back into the motor. It's going to be hard to get to when the motor is in the car but you should be able to cap it with a bolt that is the same size. But I may be wrong

Put a Bolt, metal dowl etc in the line and clamp the rubber line or weld the barb fitting. Use 2 clamps
If you have -an fittings, buy a cap or plug and use that.

You cut the pipe and get rid of the loop that you have to run for the heater core.

So u just get a u shaped hose thT will join those other hose ends correct

I just did this a few months back, I can take pictures if you want. There are two heater hose #s you can get, and one just needs to be cut back some.
Then, you cut the return hardline back like the picture above, see how it no longer curves around. There is like an S-Shaped Heater Hose that you use on that one to the heater core.
I'll grab the numbers today. Also, make yourself a cheap bead roller if you dont have access to one. You can google it, but DIY bead roller, or something.
I would recomm putting a bead on the end of the cut pipe like factory.

I would hook up your heat if it is a street car. It really helps with rain and keeping the car cooler.
But yes, it is as simple as that.

I was thinking of cutting the the coolant line from the turbo to the rubber hose and then beading it there and then adding my stainless steel hose ...

he means drift lubricant, s14 water necks are really nice for those of us who keep heat in our street cars, cutting that metal pipe right before it makes the turn across the back of the engine allows you to run stock s13 heater hoses and it eliminates pretty much everything running across the back of the engine, I would run one if I still had a water cooled turbo lol

What happens when you warm the inside of the glass, where it used to be cold?
